This is the skinny threiops cub Desa encountered in the Kinsheeta pass. It is not sexually mature because it's plume is still plain, it does not have the intricate patterns of the mature animal. The plumes of the theiropsoids and many of the lumins are actually a paper-like substance inflated with air, very much like a mid-20th century new-year's-eve noisemaker. This individual has not been very successful. It weighs only a thousand pounds and is desperately hungry. Only it's teeth and claws have reached their full growth.
